Donald James Moen popularly called Don Moen was born on the 29th of June 1950. Don Moen grew up in Minnesota (Minneapolis) and after finishing his high school in 1968, he furthered his schooling in Oral Roberts Art School.

In 1973, Don Moen got married to Lee Szucha. The marriage is blessed with five wonderful children.

Don Moen served under Terry Law Ministries for 10 years as a sound musician. Immediately after that, he served as the president and creative director of Integrity Media.

Don Moen chaired Don Moen company (a new company he initiated) and MediaShout was born from the company’s initiative.

In 2009, Moen worked as a radio host for Don Moen and friends. He bagged many awards for his God with Us including a Dove Award.

Claire Cloninger, Ron Kenoly, Bob Fitts, Paul Overstreet, Tom Brooks,Martin J. Nystrom, Debbye Graafsma etc., were his associates.

Don Moen was a major propeller to the careers of Hillsong United, Israel Houghton, Paul Baloche, Darlene Zschech to mention but a few.

In 1992, Don Moen released the first album with his name and called it Worship with Don Moen.

Don Moen, however, produced Give Thanks for the label whose name was Hosanna! Music. The album which was produced by the legendary Tom Brooks later became bestseller for Hosanna! Music.


Don Moen recorded The Mercy Seat in 1999 in Singapore Indoor Stadium and left to Yoida in Korea to record Heal Our Land of which were both released in 2000.

Don Moen’s God With Us won the Dove Award for best musical.

In 2003, Don Moen released The Best of Don Moen which had about 19 hit tracks of which was titled after his sister-in-law and husband who were at the time grieving the death of their son who lost his life in a ghastly auto crash.

Don Moen’s first studio album was released in 2006. It was recorded in Tennessee (Paragon studio to be precise). His second studio recording came in 2008 and was named I BELIEVE THERE IS MORE. This was however followed by the third one named Uncharted Territory in 2012.
The same year, Don Moen released Christmas; A Season of Hope which was launched on the 22nd of October 2012.

This was followed with his hymnary launched to celebrate his 1 million followers on Facebook.
