Born on the 8th of September in the year 1979, Alecia Beth Moore is otherwise referred to as Pink (adapted as P!nk), is an American artist and musician. She was initially an individual from the young lady bunch Choice.

LaFace Records in 1995 picked Pink when a potential of singing was seen in her and was given a contract to record a solo.

In the year 2000, Pink dropped her debut album titled “Can’t Take Me Home” which was certified as double-platinum in the States. This album got into Hot 100 songs on Billboard. Most specifically, “Most Girls” and “There You Go”.

Pink further got recognized after she collaborated to release a single with Moulin Rouge Soundtrack which was titled “Lady Marmalade”. This song reportedly topped the chart globally.

In 2001, Pink changed her sound to suit pop rock after releasing her second album Misunderstood which was sold worldwide for over 13 million copies. This song got to number one international songs which were “Just Like a Pill” and “Don’t Let Me Get Me”.

In 2003, Pink came up with her third studio album which she titled “Try This”. This album was however, sold lesser than her previous albums but it did shoot her to limelight as she bagged her first Grammy Award for the category of Best Female Rock Vocal Performance.

In 2006, she returned to top record charts with the release of her fourth and of course fifth “I’m Not Dead” and “Funhouse” which was released in 2006 and 2008 respectively.

“The Truth About Love” was Pink’s sixth studio album which was released in the year 2012. This album gave her to the fourth US number-one single.

A collaborative music was recorded between Pink and Dallas Green (Canadian musician) which was under You+Me.

Beautiful Trauma and Hurts 2B Human was released in 2017 and 2019 respectively. These songs got to the top 200 Billboard charts and got her the best-selling album of the year.

Pink is distinguished for her stage acrobatics and raspy voice on stage and sold over 100 million records globally. This got her the best-selling music artist.

Pink brags of 3 Grammy Awards, 7 MTV Video Music Awards, 1 Daytime Emmy Award, 2 Brit Awards, Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Pink was named by Billboard as the Artist of the Decade in 2009.
In the 2000s, she also bagged the runners up of the most played female singer queuing up after Madonna in United Kingdom. Pink was also ranked her as the number ten on their 100 list of Music Greatest Women and of course she was awarded her the woman of the year 2013 by Billboard.

Pink received BMI President’s Award for outstanding songwriting and global impact achievements in the entertainment industry and of course Pop culture in the 63rd Annual BMI Pop Awards.
