Bukola Elemide who is staged named Asa pronounced as Aṣa /æʃə/, /ASH-ə/ is a Nigerian-French songwriter and award-winning singer who was born on the 17th September in the year 1982.
Asa met Janet Nwose in 2004 who later turned to be her good friend and of course her manager and also acquainted her with the legendary Cobhams Asuquo, who thus turned into the maker of her first studio collection which was titled Asa (Asha).

On the 11th of September the same year, she reported on her Twitter page that her new collection, Lucid, will be delivered on 11 October 2019. Consistent with her words, the collection was then released on the 11th of October 2019.
